This Privacy Statement applies to all services, products and activities of
Carealize N.V. and all its affiliated companies (hereinafter: Carealize).


Carealize processes and manages personal data of
future, current and former employees, (customers
of) customers, suppliers and business contacts in
several (information) systems. This processing
takes place for various purposes: for instance based
on statutory and/or contractual obligations, in view
of a (future) employer / employee relationship, for
business interests or at the request of the data
subject. Carealize processes personal data in
accordance with the applicable (inter)national
legislation and regulations, contracts with
customers, suppliers and business contacts and
Carealize’s (privacy) policy.

Processing of and access to personal data

Carealize gives a high priority to the protection of
personal data. Carealize treats personal data
confidentially and with the greatest possible care.
Personal data are only stored if there is an explicit
and legitimate aim for the processing of those
personal data. Carealize is committed to being as
transparent as possible about the processing of
personal data. Furthermore, Carealize applies a
proportionality and subsidiarity test to each
processing activity: this means that the interference
with the interests of the data subject cannot be
disproportionate to the aim pursued and that the aim
cannot be pursued in another manner that is less
intrusive for the data subject affected by the
processing of personal data. Stored personal data
are only accessible to Carealize’s employees
insofar as this is necessary for the performance of
their duties. Carealize protects its systems - within
reason - against the loss and/or any form of
unlawful use or processing. It uses appropriate
technical and organisational measures, taking into
account the state of the art. However, Carealize is
not liable for unlawfully obtained access to
computers or files, viruses spread or other unlawful
programs or files, or any other consequence of
making data available to Carealize. Carealize does
not share personal data with third parties without the
prior explicit consent of the data subject (and where
possible: of our customer or business contact),
unless there are statutory obligations, such as in
connection with investigations conducted by judicial
authorities and/or regulatory authorities


Carealize’s employees observe the (international)
privacy legislation as well as Carealize’s privacy
policy, as laid down in Carealize’s Privacy
Regulations. The Privacy Officer, designated and
notified to the Netherlands Data Protection
Authority, will create the highest possible level of
awareness and will supervise compliance with the
legislation and regulations mentioned above. All
email messages of Carealize employees are
automatically provided with a disclaimer alerting the
receiver of the risk involved with the sharing or
failure to delete the information in the email
message (in time) under the privacy legislation. For
users of the Carealize website, Carealize uses the
policy as included in ‘Privacy & Cookies’.

Information, access and correction of data and right of objection

If you have questions about what data are collected
about you and for what purpose, Carealize is always
willing to provide you with information on this.
Furthermore, you may access the data that
Carealize collects on you, or request the correction
or removal of your personal data, without Carealize
charging you any costs. Finally, you may object to
receiving information from Carealize through the
media. If you have one of the requests mentioned

Changes to this Privacy Statement

Carealize reserves the right to make changes to this
Privacy Statement. Each change will be published
on this site. We recommend that you consult this
Privacy Statement regularly so that you are always
